Radio/TV and Film Biography

1973-1979

Debbie worked for the BBC first as a

PA and freelance journalist for

Schools Radio.

She had brief attachments to

Television Light Entertainment,

working for the writers of

"The Dave Allen Show"

and "The Two Ronnies",

Austin Steele,

Peter Vincent and Peter

Robinson

(where she also did some research). 

She later worked in Television News as

an NTA. (News Transmission Assistant)

and worked with BBC sound man Sim Harris who was later to be a hostage

during the Iranian Embassy Siege in London (1980). She left the BBC in 1979

to work as a freelance journalist and researcher.

Debbie worked alongside Sam Vangeen very third Thursday of the month on Vibe 1096 Watford Community Radio.

2009 - to 2010

Debbie has worked alongside Suzi Becker and Sharron Livingstone as an ad hoc broadcaster and journalist on JNET Radio.

2008

Debbie was the voice of Madam Debra on the Danny Greenstone Radio Show.
