Time portals, The Mystery of Versailles and Other Dimensions

by Debbie Nagioff  (debbiemaya@yahoo.co.uk

When I trained at the College of Psychic Studies in London back in the early 1980s, I was constantly in awe of the experience of being able to touch other dimensions through my conversations with spirit. This wasn’t from a personal point of view, but from the realms of a science that clairvoyants, like myself knew existed, but which was hitherto still muddied by academics and scientists as unproven.

As a young trainee clairvoyant in class, I remember distinctly “listening” to a spirit “dictating” a message in my head, and I told the recipient (another student) that the disembodied voice belonged to a woman with one leg. So definite was I about this fact, that I just couldn’t retract it, even though to me, it sounded totally random. The student immediately recognised that spirit, by my description as a deceased aunt.

So how does it work? We know that energy is the main factor here. When my beloved elder brother Richard passed to spirit at the tender age of 46 in 1998, he came to me 6 months later and spoke in my ear about how guilty he felt at having left a young family of four children and a loving wife behind. His spirit and sense of humour remained in tact however, despite the transition to another dimension. He came to me several times like this and I was always aware that I was in some kind of light sleep/trance and the energy I felt was imbued by an electrical current, giving the whole experience great clarity.

But what of these “other dimensions”. If we look at the above facts, it would seem that I was in touch with a spirit from another dimension and where is that dimension? That can’t be answered really. because evaluating time, space and other dimensions is impossible using earthly parameters.

Let us now turn to time portals or time slips, where it would seem that an invisible line is crossed into another time period. Here, I am not looking at crossing a continent or two and having to put my watch back or forward. I am dealing with going back decades or centuries in time to quite another existence all in the blink of an eye.

One of the famous time p ortals was known as the Mystery of Versailles. I shall leave you to draw your own conclusions, but this story is very well documented.

On 10 August 1901 two female academics Charlotte Anne Moberly and Eleanor Jourdain were visiting the Petit Trianon, a château in the grounds of the Palace of Versailles where they seemingly passed through a time portal or time slip, and “saw” Marie Antoinette and other people of that period walking around.

Up until this point they had not been particularly enamoured with the Palace and the two ladies, who had travelled with a party, suddenly found themselves quite alone.

The feeling in the air became one of great oppression and dreariness and a kind of heaviness that gave them a feeling of unreality.

They came across what they thought were Palace gardeners who gave them directions to where they wanted to go. Their attire however was very much in keeping with an early Georgian period – long grey/green coats and three-cornered hats. There were other people on the landscape, equally dressed in “old-fashioned” attire.

But it was the essence of oppression and heaviness that was a real pointer to them that something wasn’t quite normal. One of these people ushered them in the direction that they wanted to go, to the Petit Trianon.

Crossing a bridge, they reached the gardens in front of the Palace, and saw a lady sketching on the grass who looked at them. The lady was wearing a light summer dress and a shady white hat and she was blonde. Moberly thought she was a tourist at first, but the dress appeared to be old-fashioned. Moberly believed that the lady was Marie Antoinette . After this, they joined their touring party at the Hotel des Reservoirs.

Another example of a time slip happened in the summer of 1996, and involved a Merseyside policeman called Frank.

Frank and his wife had gone shopping in their native Liverpool, in the Bold Street area, to be precise. At Central Station the couple browsed separately. Frank went into HMV and his wife, Carol popped into Dillons Bookshop.

It was whilst Frank had been strolling near the Lyceum Post Office that he experienced the same oppression and quietness as the two ladies had done in Versailles 95 years earlier.

As he soaked in this strange atmosphere Frank saw a 1950s style box van pass him by. On the side of the van was the name of the company it represented, “Caplan’s”.

Being suddenly disorientated by this strange looking van and the energy changes he was experiencing, he noticed that Dillons bookshop now had the name “Cripps”, and instead of selling books it was selling ladies shoes and handbags.

He also noticed that the people around him were dressed in the style of the 1940s. Ironically, and as if to bring him back to the present time he saw a young girl dressed in 1990s garb carrying a bag adorned with a popular logo. The girl wentinto “Cripps”.

Following her inside the interior of “Cripps”, the shop suddenly reverted back to Dillons Bookshop 1996. Deeply puzzled Frank turned to the girl and asked if she had seen anything odd, to which she replied "Yeah! I thought it was a clothes shop. I was going to look around, but it's a bookshop."

Later research confirmed that both Cripps and Caplan’s had been businesses based in Liverpool in the 1950s no longer trading.

So are there any explanations that can be sought regarding these tears in the fabric of time and our seeming ability to reach out to other dimensions? In an article of this nature I would ask the physicists among you to consider and look at “String Theory” for some answers. This considers the existence of extra dimensions. So if we think of our universe and the strings of other galaxies that connect to ours, it opens up the possibilities of the existence of “Greys”, (again which I am not going to deal with in this article).

What these examples above showed were sudden changes in atmosphere and energy. This brings me back to the works and the experiences of the clairvoyant. As a working medium I always tell my sitters that I am working on their energies, and that if those energies start to flag, my connection with the dimension(s) of spirit will start to fade and become like a very bad telephone connection!

So does it come down to just energy that links us with an “electrical cord” across time, space and into other dimensions, or is there more to the story?
